Villa “Emily” in Achillio is a lovely family property and it is appropriate for accommodation of 6 people. It features a living room with kitchen and dining area, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The villa is available for rent all year round.

Decorated in warm colors, the cozy living room features a sofa bed, a small sofa, a tea table, nicely decorated shelves and an impressive fireplace. There is a balcony, from which is an open view towards the sea and the deep blue horizon. On the right side of the balcony there are number of cypresses and old trees, as well as bushes, some of them are blooming.

Kitchen is a part of the living room. It is fully equipped with an oven with an absorber, a big fridge with a freezer, a microwave, a coffee machine and a toaster. At guests disposal are a lot of cooking utensils and dining sets, and everything is new and in perfect condition. The dining table is solid and very comfortable for long dinner. It is set near the piano with an idea dining to be nicely combined with a pleasant music performance.

The “white room” is a tastefully decorated in white colors and features a large double bed with two bedside tables, a wardrobe, a dressing table with a big mirror and a spacious balcony with an amazing view. The second room is usually fitted with a single bed, but inside there is enough place for an extra single bed. The room has two bedside tables, a night lamp, a wardrobe and a large window facing to the hill. The third room features a single bed with a bedside table, shelves with books and a working desk. There is also a rustic dresser inside. One extra single bed can be putted inside. The room has a large balcony with an amazing view to the sea and to the lush Mediterranean greenery around the villa.

The bathroom is not spacious, but enough comfortable. It has a bathtub, a WC and a washing machine. There is a self-controlled boiler for hot water.

The villa’s garden is the most impressive advantage of the property. It is the right place where you can admire the unique Corfu nature! The garden exceeds the size of 1000 square meters and is always kept in perfect condition. Evergreen palms and cypresses, the fresh grass, some blooming bushes, combined with the amazingly sea view, make you feel like you are in the paradise. The villa can be reached from the asphalt road.

There is a main gate with a remote control for more privacy. In front of the house there is a large plastic table with six plastic chairs around it. Under the cypress’ shadow the morning coffee or the afternoon tea is even more tasty and delightful.

LOCATION

Villa “Emily” has a very strategic position. The property is located in the heart of the greenest island of Greece - Corfu. Built only 500 m away from the famous Achilleion Museum and about 500 m away from the Corfu Sea museum, it is an ideal starting point for exploring the island. The nearest beach is the beach of Benitses, which is reachable in 3 minutes by car or in 10-15 minutes on foot. From Benitses marina a lot of tourist ships start their trips to Paxos and Antipaxos. Tourists can find a number of tavernas, bars, cafes, mini-markets and other shops in the centre of Benitses or in the village of Gastouri (Achillio), which is 2 km away from the villa. Kanoni and the Mouse Island (Pontikonissi) are 3 km far from Villa Emily. The Corfu capital – Kerkyra – is only 10 km far from Villa Emily in northeast direction.

Gastouri (Achillio) is a picturesque village 11,5 km from Kerkyra town, which was built at a short direction from the sea. A gully divides it into two attractive settlements with traditional houses, narrow streets and arches. Two kilometers east of the village, on a small hill, is built the recently renovated Achilleion, the palace of the Austrian empress Elizabeth, or “Sissi”.

Benitses is a seaside village and one of the most popular of the island, where found ruins of Roman baths. In the village there is a maritime museum with interesting exhibits from the Mediterranean and other seas.

The village of Benitses is located near the ceneter of the island, just twelve km. south of Corfu town. Here, the sea and the mountains co-exist in harmony like many other things, including traditional singing and modern music, traditional food and international cuisine- the graphic chapels and the busy restaurants and bars.

Beside the crystal clear waters of the beaches, awarded with the EU Blue Flag, the new harbor is built with modern facilities, enhancing the village, the municipality and also the whole island.

Deposit is requested as a booking guarantee and it is 40% of the total amount of the reservation. The balance is due upon arrival by cash.

Penalties for cancellation:

Cancellation up to 60 days before arrival – free of charge;

Cancellation between 59 and 45 days before arrival – a half of the deposit paid will be charged as a late cancellation penalty and the rest of the deposit will be transferred back to the customers.

Cancellation less than 45 days before arrival – we’ll keep the whole deposit paid as a late cancellation penalty.

A security deposit of 300 EUR should be asked upon check-in.

In case of no damages caused in/to property during the stay we’ll return the deposit without any deduction.

In case of any damages caused during the stay, we keep the right to deduct costs for the repair or for the replacement of the broken things.
